Main products

This is our main product. Coke is a carbon material made by heating several types of coal at high temperatures of over 1200℃, and is mainly used as a raw material for pig ironmaking in the steel industry. It has high energy and hardness, and is an essential raw material as a reducing agent for iron ore in iron production. It is also used in municipal waste gasification and melting furnaces, and the high temperatures generated by coke make it possible to eliminate pollution (prevent dioxin generation), reduce volume, and recycle resources compared to regular waste treatment. In addition, depending on the size and properties, it can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as lime burning, ferroalloy production, and graphite electrode production, but precise quality control is required depending on the application.

Coal
Coal is a resource that can be reliably supplied, making it crucial for energy security due to its low cost and wide geographical availability. It remains the world’s largest single source of electricity. Additionally, coal plays a vital role as an affordable and highly efficient fuel in industrial boilers and the cement industry.

Anthracite
Anthracite is the coal with the highest degree of carbonization. It has a particularly high carbon content and few impurities (low ash, volatile matter, and sulfur content), so it produces almost no smoke when burned. It is used as a raw material for lime burning and carbide manufacturing, and we handle the highest grade anthracite.

Pitch Coke
It is made from coal tar, a byproduct of coke production from coal, and is calcined at high temperatures to produce a carbon material characterized by its high carbon content (99% or more fixed carbon), low ash content, and low sulfur content. This material is primarily used as an anode material in aluminum refining and titanium manufacturing, as a recarburizer in steelmaking, and as a raw material for special carbon products in the semiconductor industry. It is known for its excellent electrical conductivity and durability.

Petroleum Coke
Coke, a by-product of the petroleum refining process, is a high-carbon material produced through the pyrolysis of petroleum residues at elevated temperatures. It is primarily used in the steel and aluminum refining industries and serves as a key raw material for electrodes and carbon black. Additionally, its high energy density makes it valuable as a fuel for power generation.

Storage
We can store 170,000 MT mainly in the Hibiki and Kurosaki yards. We will carefully manage the materials in our own yards until the time that the customer desires.

Sieving/Crushing/Blending
Our company has 10 sifters and 4 crushers in total at the Hibiki and Kurosaki yards. We customize particle size and blend according to customer needs.
